Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve coffee, tea, fresh juices, soft drinks, and other café beverages. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer orders, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the café or restaurant.

The ideal candidate should be polite, well-presented, reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a busy hospitality environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, juices, smoothies, and other hot and cold beverages.
  • Welcome customers in a polite and professional manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately and serve orders on time.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter, tables, equipment, and service area.
  • Ensure food and drinks are prepared according to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Handle cash, mobile payments, or point-of-sale systems when required.
  • Restock cups, napkins, milk, sugar, coffee beans, tea, and other supplies.
  • Support waiters, kitchen staff, and supervisors during busy periods.
  • Respond to customer requests, questions, and complaints in a professional way.
  • Follow company rules, dress code, and customer service standards.


Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school certificate or relevant hospitality training is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a barista, waiter/waitress, café assistant, or customer service worker is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee, tea, drinks preparation, and customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling orders and payments.
  • Food hygiene or hospitality training is an advantage.
