Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Language Teacher to deliver high-quality English language instruction to learners of different levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning lessons, teaching English communication skills, assessing learner progress, and supporting students to improve their speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and confidence in using English.

The ideal candidate should be professional, patient, creative, well-organised, and committed to helping learners achieve their academic, professional, and personal language goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English language lessons.
• Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Assess learners' English levels and monitor their progress.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Support learners to build confidence in communication and presentation skills.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and improvement areas.
• Maintain attendance records, assessment results, and progress reports.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment.
• Use modern teaching methods, including group work, role play, practical exercises, and digital learning tools.
• Prepare students for academic English, workplace communication, exams, or professional development where required.
• Follow institutional policies, safeguarding standards, and professional teaching ethics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, TEFL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
• A recognised English teaching certificate such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Previous teaching experience in English language instruction is preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to teach learners at different levels, from beginner to advanced.
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital learning tools is an advantage.
